Árvit maid? Guess what?! We have a learning circle coming up February 25th at 6:30 PM PST via zoom. This learning circle will be lead by Petter-Anne Hutchings (pronouns: they/them) , a speaker of the North Sámi language. Petter-Anne will be discussing the importance of Sámi language, why it’s important to culture, dispelling myths and sharing some fun facts. In addition, we are excited to share that this learning circle will kick off a series of language focused learning circles hosted by Petter-Anne! They will be sending out a survey to our members soon in order to gauge interest in language, learning styles, and more.
